How often should you pump your septic tank?

RCI Septic Service • May 9, 2019

It is recommended that you pump your septic tank every 2 years. Some homes can go longer, depending on the size and age of the tank, as well as the number of people using it. Some septic tanks need to be pumped more often for the same reasons. A tank with a failing septic system should be pumped every six or twelve months. RCI Septic Service can advise you accordingly.
