Enviro-Septic System

RCI Septic Service • September 12, 2023

An Enviro-Septic is an effective on-site wastewater treatment system that treats the wastewater that leaves the septic tank before it is dispersed into the soil. The Enviro-Septic facilitates the treatment of pollutants by using the natural contribution of bacteria in a more efficient way. The bacterial activity around the membranes allows for the breaking up of material from the septic tank. It was developed by Presby Environmental, Inc. of Whitefield, NH.

Enviro-Septic pipes come in 10-foot lengths and have a 12-inch diameter. They use snap-lock couplings, offset adapters and end caps for assembly. An Enviro-Septic requires much less space and land area than other septic systems and can be placed in building areas where a stone and pipe system would not fit. The Enviro-Septic also adjusts easily to difficult sites and slopes. The Enviro-Septic can be installed within 2 feet of the seasonal high-water table due to its cleansing properties. There is also an advanced Enviro-Septic, the main difference being a white absorbent strip that lays on the bottom of the tube.
